My name is Alessio Orzali and I am one of the partners of O&P srl.
Because of an old radio amateur neighbor, I became an expert in Telecommunications and then an Electrical Engineer in Pisa.
My working adventure began in ’96 in Rosignano, in a large engineering company where I had a very intense experience both on a human level and on the level of acquiring technical knowledge.
In particular of the Nuovo Pignone, SNAM and Solvay standards, some of the most important customers.
Then I approached Lucca and had the good fortune to follow, from the electrical and instrumental point of view, a green field project of a double-format tissue machine with turbogas, at that time decidedly avant-garde.
After the excitement of assembly and start-up, the production and maintenance aspect did not encounter the same fervor.
Hence, in ’97, together with Simone, the idea of an associated firm of engineers was born, and later, in ’99, O&P srl was born.
After more than 25 years in the business, I must say that the passion to learn new things, accept new challenges still remains burning in me. I’m glad to have people in the group who are younger than the company itself, this makes us feel like “eternal kids.”
To keep my mind and body on axis, I can’t do without my mountain bike, my rock climbing gear and my inseparable saxophone.
